LIGONIER, Ind. (WOWO): A traffic stop turned into something more in LaGrange County Thursday night.

A County Deputy pulled over a car at the intersection of County Roads 750 North and 920 West at about 7:20pm near Ligonier for a traffic violation, but the Deputy felt the two people in the car were acting suspicious, so a K-9 unit was brought in. The dog found methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and marijuana.

Police arrested the driver of the vehicle, 45-year-old Ricky Kindig, as well as 33-year-old passenger Tonya Watkins, both of Elkhart, on a number of drug charges.
