FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): An annual report says that Allen County is slipping in health.

In this year’s Robert Wood Johnson Health Rankings Report, Allen County fell nine spots to rank as the 39th healthiest county out of Indiana’s 92 counties.

The highest ranking county in our region is Whitley County at 7, followed by LaGrange at 12 and Steuben at 14.

They’re followed by Kosciusko at 21, DeKalb at 28, Adams at 29 and Huntington at 35.

Two dozen factors go into the rankings, ranging from human behavior to environmental factors.
