FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Average retail gasoline prices in Fort Wayne have risen 15.4 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $2.21 per gallon Sunday. Nationally, the average has increased 2.4 cents per gallon, coming in at $2.14 per gallon.

Experts with GasBuddy say almost every state has raised gasoline prices from where they stood a week ago. They add that low prices have sparked the early demand surge this year, and it’s expected to continue into the summer, where demand hits its peak for the year.
