FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): An elementary school in Fort Wayne turns 50 tomorrow.

Fort Wayne Community Schools spokeswoman Krista Stockman says the district will be holding a special “birthday party” for Glenwood Park Elementary Friday at 1pm.

Past students and staff will be on hand to talk about their time at the school, a 25-year-old time capsule will be opened, and each grade level will bring something for a new time capsule.

Stockman adds they also plan on giving the school a 50th birthday present of its own.
