FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A Fort Wayne man accused of molesting a 6-year-old girl could be sentenced to more than 130 years in jail if convicted of the crime.
Jason Lee Stratton, 26, is charged with three counts of child molesting, each level 1 felonies, and one county of child molesting a child under 14, a level 4 felony.
The 6-year-old girl’s mother called police on Sunday when a relative got home and said they saw Stratton re-buttoning his pants, according to the Journal Gazette. Stratton was babysitting the girl at the time.
Police later found and arrested Stratton, who admitted to sexually assaulting the girl, police say.
His initial hearing is scheduled for Monday, June 13.
