FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) – A man is seeking the approval of Blue Stone Town Homes to build a 24-unit upscale duplex community on the south side of Illinois Road in Aboite Township.
According to the Journal Gazette, Jim Mutton is the developer of a nearly $4 million rental community with rent starting at $1,400. The duplexes will be mostly two or three bedrooms and include two-car garages. Mutton would like to build the duplexes to entice baby boomers, young professionals, as well as retirees.
Mutton appeared before the Fort Wayne Planning Commission on Monday. The Keller Development, Inc. community would be built near the Centaur Acres subdivision.
