Accused murderer from Mississippi arrested in Fort Wayne

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): An accused murderer has been locked up in Fort Wayne.

The U.S. Marshals’ Task Force arrested 21-year-old Anfernee Brent on Wednesday morning. They found him at a relative’s apartment on Harris Road on the northwest side of Fort Wayne, according to the U.S. Marshals Task Force.

He was wanted out of Yazoo County in Mississippi on a charge of first degree murder. Police say Brent was part of a drug deal gone bad.

Brent was booked into Allen County Jail and will be extradited back to Mississippi.
