VAN WERT COUNTY, Ohio (WOWO): An Ohio City man was arrested Friday morning after police say he tried to meet up with a 13-year-old for sex.

Nathan D. Kreischer, 25, was arrested on a preliminary charge of importuning, level 5 felony, according to the Van Wert County (Ohio) Sheriff’s Department.

Police say Krischer attempted to meet a 13-year-old at a park. When he arrived, officers arrested him.

Kreischer was sent to the Van Wert County Correctional Facility. Police say additional charges could be added during his arraignment hearing.
