Fort Wayne Parks Board seeks approval for $10 million bond

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The Fort Wayne Parks Board is looking to get approval for a $10 million bond issue for parks improvement projects.

The Journal Gazette reports the board is looking for a 12-year term on the bond, which will cover improvements and projects at various locations including the Foellinger-Freimann Botanical Conservatory, Shoaff Lake and Salomon Farm Park.

A public hearing on the bond is set for November 10. It’ll also need approval from the Fort Wayne City Council.
