Syracuse man accused of stealing motorcycle

ANGOLA, Ind. (WOWO): A Syracuse man was arrested after police say he stole a motorcycle.

Thomas P. Crago Jr., 20, was arrested on preliminary charges of burglary and auto theft, according to the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office.

Police were called to the area of 3900 West 350 North at about 7:36 a.m. on reports of a stolen motorcycle. When police arrived, they searched for the 2006 Kawasaki motorcycle and a black car that might have been involved.

A short time later, a family member of the victim saw the motorcycle on a nearby road. The family member made the motorcycle stop and Crago ran into a wooded area.

Police found Crago walking in the 4100 North block of C.R. 800 West. He matched the suspect’s description. Police arrested him and he was booked into Steuben County Jail.
