Fort Wayne teen dies in single-vehicle crash

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A 17-year-old Fort Wayne teen was killed in a crash on Tuesday.

The Allen County Coroner’s Office said Peytin India Chamble died from blunt force trauma due to a motor vehicle crash. The manner of death was ruled an accident.

At about 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 22, crews were called to East Washington Boulevard near White Avenue on reports of a crash. Police found a car resting on its top in a parking lot when they arrived.

Police believe the car was going east on Washington when it lost control, jumped a curb and flipped multiple times.

She is the 34th traffic fatality in Fort Wayne this year.

The crash is under investigation the Fort Wayne Police Department F.A.C.T.
