FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A new public opinion poll shows strong support for Fort Wayne’s Electric Works project among Allen County residents.
Greater Fort Wayne has released the findings of a study done by Campos Research and Strategy of Pittsburgh, showing 86% of those surveyed view the project favorably, and when they were given a description of the project, that number jumped to 91%.
About two-thirds of respondents supported local public funding for the project, and each proposed component of the project, like a public market, entertainment venue, educational spaces, and space for startup businesses, got at least 83% of respondents’ support.
