FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): This morning’s slick conditions led to a shutdown of a portion of Interstate 469 in Allen County.

Northbound I-469 was closed by the Allen County Sheriff’s Office from US 30 in New Haven to the Maysville Road exit shortly after 5am due to at least 8 different vehicle crashes near Maysville Road. It reopened at about 7:45am.

There were no initial reports of injuries.

Police also dealt with slick conditions that caused crashes on Interstate 69 near the Waterloo exit and on US 24 east of New Haven.
