FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): An historic building in downtown Fort Wayne was moved to its new home this morning.

The 122-year-old former Cambray Associates building was bought by the city two years ago with the initial plan being to demolish it, making way for the city’s Riverfront development plans.

But instead, the local Don Hall’s Restaurant chain’s owners bought it, hoping to move it from 312 South Harrison to the corner of Superior and Harrison, and remodel it into a new restaurant.

Crews took several hours moving the building into place this morning.
