ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO) – A New Haven man pleaded guilty to killing his wife Friday.

The Journal Gazette reports Wiley Brown III, 27, entered his guilty plea in Allen Superior Court for the September 2018 slaying.

During an argument with his wife on September 20, Brown said he held a gun to his head and considered committing suicide. He then shot the floor once before his wife tried grabbing the gun from him.

Brown said he then shot the gun twice, and saw one of the shots hit his wife’s forehead.

Their children, aged two and five, were home at the time of the incident.
