Allen County SPCA asking for cat supplies for Muncie shelter

ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): The Allen County SPCA and the Muncie Animal Shelter need your help.

The Muncie Animal Shelter saved more than 70 cats from a hoarding situation on Wednesday, the Allen County SPCA said on Facebook.

Now, the Muncie shelter needs assistance. The Allen County SPCA plans to donate items and hopes the public will help. The shelter is asking for Allen County residents to drop off cat items such as dry or canned food, liter pans, liter and cat toys.

The Allen County SPCA will be open 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday. The shelter will deliver supplies to Muncie on Friday.
