Allen County’s 2025 Homicide Numbers

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) – Allen County saw a total of 35 homicides in 2025. 

2024 numbers showed a total of 41 homicides, and 2023 saw 31 homicides.

In 2025, reports say more than half of those who died by homicide were Black, 10 were white, two were Hispanic and one was Asian. 

24 individuals killed were male and 11 were female. 

The three youngest homicide victims were 16 years old and the oldest was 86 years old. 

21 Alive News offers more information on the victims and says that at the end of 2025, a total of 33 of the homicide cases were considered closed, and only two cases remain open.
