Remove all ornaments, tinsel, and plastic bags before dropping off your tree.

Artificial trees are not accepted. Residents are encouraged to donate or reuse artificial trees.

Wreaths and garlands are also not accepted because of the metal wires that can damage recycling equipment.

Please note that trees will not be collected during regular trash pickup.

This program is part of Allen County’s ongoing efforts to reduce waste and support sustainability in the community. The mulch created from the recycled trees will be used to help improve local parks, trails, and green spaces throughout the area.

Residents are encouraged to take advantage of this free and convenient recycling program, ensuring that their holiday trees are disposed of in an eco-friendly manner.
