Bald Eagle Hurt in Winter Storm Released to Wild

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (AP): A bald eagle rescued after being injured in a winter storm has been returned to the wild. The eagle was set free Sunday at Lake Monroe south of Bloomington after spending several weeks at a wildlife rehabilitation center. The eagle was discovered in the northern Indianapolis suburb of Carmel after suffering a concussion in a winter ice storm.
