Bird Flu Cases Are On The Rise Once Again

STATEWIDE, Ind. (WOWO) — Experts from I-U Health tell WOWO News that although the risk to the general public is very low, those who work around poultry or have backyard chicken coops should exercise an abundance of caution – especially around birds that are suspected of being sick.

Just one fatality has been reported thus far – and that person was over 65 with underlying health conditions.
