FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A shooting near South Side high school Wednesday has left one person dead. Shots were fired around

3:30 P.M., and when police arrived, they found an unresponsive man outside a barbershop who was pronounced dead at the scene.

School officials at South Side began a lock-down for about 30 minutes.

Officials are asking that anyone with information about the shooting or anyone who may have witnessed it call police.

If the coroner rules today's shooting a homicide, that would be Allen County's 41st homicide of 2013.
