Brooklyn Ave shooting suspect found dead

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Fort Wayne Police believe they’ve found who was responsible for a fatal shooting that happened on Brooklyn Avenue Monday night.

Unfortunately, it seems he took his own life before they could reach him.

The Journal Gazette reports that police tracked a vehicle that matched the description of one seen at the scene of the shooting that took the life of 51-year-old Hector Sustaita, and found a man inside the nearby home dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

The Monday night shooting also left a woman in serious condition. Police say the shooter and the woman had some sort of relationship before the shooting happened.
