“Bubka” The English Cocker Spaniel Joins Warsaw PD

“Bubka” of the Warsaw Police Department

WARSAW, Ind. (WOWO): The Warsaw Police Department has added a new K-9 officer to its force…and it's an English Cocker Spaniel.

“Bubka” is two years old, was born in the United Kingdom, was trained in the Netherlands before arriving in the United States in late 2014, according to the Warsaw Police Department. He completed K-9 training last month at Vohne Liche Kennels in Denver, Indiana.

Bubka is a non-biting narcotic detection canine that is also capable of tracking.

The Warsaw Police Department says it was able to make Bubka the third K-9 officer in its force thanks to a generous donor.
