Car vs Pedestrian Crash Closes Major Intersection and Critically Injures One

Fort Wayne, IN (WOWO): The intersection of Dupont and Lima Roads was closed for three hours early Monday morning after a pedestrian was hit by a car.

Police say that the pedestrian was struck when he attempted to cross Lima Road and walked into the path of a car that was southbound. He was transported in critical condition.

Speed and impairment are not believed to be factors in the crash which remains under investigation.
