FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) — CEO John Metzinger told City Council the agency has secured new short-term funding, including a possible $500,000 city contribution – a first in Citilink’s history.

The agency plans to outsource its paratransit van service, freeze leadership pay, and leave six positions unfilled to cut costs.

Metzinger also warned that Indiana lags behind neighboring states in transit funding.
