Coroner: NW Indiana Woman, 65, Dies of Blunt Force Injury

LAKE STATION, Ind. (AP) _ A coroner says a 65-year-old northwestern Indiana woman found dead in her mobile home died of blunt force trauma.
 
Lake County Coroner Merrilee Frey ruled the death of Edith Keith of Lake Station a homicide.
 
Keith was found dead in her home in the Pine Village Mobile Home Park about 10 p.m. Monday.
 
The (Munster) Times reports (http://bit.ly/1JquEJZ ) neighbors said Keith was a friendly person who always waved hello.
 
Lake Station is about 5 miles east of Gary.
