Court Orders Fabini Property Forefeited

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A U.S. District Court has issued a final order of forfeiture on Michael A. Fabini.

Fabini was arrested in February of 2013 and pleaded guilty in 2014 on drug offenses, including conspiracy to distribute and posses with intent to distribute marijuana. It also means his house is out of his hands, and goes back to Wells Fargo who laid claim to the property.

The News Sentinel reports as early as 2008, Fabini was linked to a “stash house.” Allen County Sheriff's Department seized nearly 7,000 pounds of marijuana as well as over a million dollars in cash.

The forfeiture is part of a plea agreement with federal authorities.
