Cross Country Runner Hit By Car on Spy Run Avenue

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A Concordia High School cross country runner was sent to the hospital in serious condition after getting hit by a car Monday afternoon. 

The student was hit at about 4:15 PM yesterday (Monday) on Spy Run near the split with Clinton north of State. 

According to the Fort Wayne Police Department, the girl reportedly ran away from the group on the River Greenway into traffic on Spy Run.
