FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A suspect in the Eby Avenue Shooting last week is scheduled to appear in court.

Charles Benson is expected to meeting in hearing Monday. The 25-year-old is charged with murder in the shooting death of 26-year old John Holman. Holman was shot and killed late on the evening of September 8 on Eby Avenue.

According to court documents, the shooting was related to stolen drugs and money.

Court documents maintain Holman broke into Benson's home and fought at a bar the night before.
