Elkhart Dispute Leats To Drug Bust

ELKHART, Ind. (WOWO): While investigating a domestic dispute, a police search uncovered a man in possession of meth.

Sheriff's from LaGrange County were called to CR 465 W & 50 N over a dispute over meth.

The report says Mark Edmund Myers of Elkhart was in a fight over over drugs. When police arrived, Myers appeared to be under the influence of controlled substances and later admitted he had some in his vehicle.

The car was impounded and towed to the LaGrange County Jail. Myers was arrested, and during a pat down officers found suspected meth in his pocket. After applying for a search warrant, they uncovered even more in his vehicle.

In all police recovered around 15 grams of what they think is methamphetamine and 6 grams of what they believe to be marijuana. Myers is charged with dealing meth, possession of meth, and possession of marijuana.
