PRINCETON, Ind. (AP) _ A former volunteer with a southwestern Indiana program that provides meals to low-income children is facing charges that she embezzled more than $13,000 from the state-funded program.
 
  Fifty-one-year-old Deborah Wolfe of Evansville faces felony theft charges for her alleged embezzlement from Princeton’s Mission Nutrition summer meals program for children. She was released on bond Tuesday after surrendering to police.
 
  The Princeton Daily Clarion reports police say Wolfe took money without authorization from the program that’s funded by the state Department of Education.
 
  The Princeton program has served children thousands of meals to since 2010.
 
  Court documents say money from its accounts was spent in several states and included payment of Wolfe’s daughter’s tuition, two car payments and gas and food expenditures in states as far away as California.
