FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): It could get a little more crowded on Coldwater Road soon.

The Allen County Plan Commission held a public hearing on two back-to-back housing developments along Coldwater near Pion Road Thursday, but also learned about yet another apartment complex planned for the area, according to the Journal Gazette.

Already planned are a 244-lot single-family-home development and a 61-lot proposal, both west of Coldwater, but next month there will be a public hearing for a 240-unit apartment complex.

That’s in addition to an already-proposed commercial complex and hotel near the Parkview Hospital campus.

Homes for one of the proposed developments would range from the $500,000 to $1-million range. Others would range from more than $180,000 to about $300,000.
