Fort Wayne City Council Rejects Brightpoint Project on W. Rudisill

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Fort Wayne City Council rejected the Brightpoint project that was proposed for the historic neighborhood around West Rudisill Blvd.

According to our Partners in News at 21Alive, the re-zoning project would have transformed the old Taylor University dorms into commercial space.

The final decision Tuesday night came down to a 5-2 vote against the project.

Some councilmen suggested Brightpoint could try to relocate the project to an already commercially-zoned area.
