Fort Wayne House Fire Displaces Family of Three

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A family of three is safe following a house fire Sunday morning in Fort Wayne.

The fire erupted at about 9:15 a.m. at a two-story home on Sinclair Street near Franklin Avenue.

Fire crews arrived to find heavy smoke coming out of the roof. Even though firefighters were able to put out the fire on the second floor and attic, they had trouble with hidden fires in the walls and attic. In the end, there was heavy fire, smoke, and water damage to the home.

Two adults and a child were able to make it out safely and uninjured. The Fort Wayne Fire Department is investigating the cause of the fire.
