FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A Fort Wayne man faces seven felony charges after police say he had sex with an 11-year-old girl.
Jason A. Tuttle, 42, is charged with four counts of child molesting where the defendant is at least 21 years of age, a Level 1 felony; one count of child molesting with a child under 14, a Level 4 felony; one count of child solicitation, a Level 5 felony; and one count of dissemination of matter harmful to minors, a Level 6 felony, according to the News-Sentinel.
If he is convicted of all charges, he could be sentenced to more than 180 years in prison.
Tuttle allegedly had sex with the 11-year-old girl for the first time in February, according to the News-Sentinel. The girl told police Tuttle had sex with her in her house at first.
Tuttle then began contacting her through Facebook Messenger. Tuttle stayed with relatives for a couple days and allegedly left his Facebook account open. When his brother-in-law saw the inappropriate messages between Tuttle and the girl, he called police.
Tuttle denied having sex with the girl. He has allegedly known the girl since she was 4.
