FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Police have identified the man found shot to death in a Fort Wayne home on Sunday morning.
The Allen County Coroner ruled the death of 33-year-old Denyran D. Calvin of Fort Wayne a homicide.
A woman called police crying hysterically at about 10 a.m. Sunday and gave the address to the home, Fort Wayne Police said. When police arrived in the 3700 block of Maywood Ave., they found Calvin with gunshot wounds.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The woman who called police was concerned because she wasn’t able to contact Calvin, so she decided to go to his house, police said. When she arrived, she found his body.
The murder is still under investigation.
