FW Man Pleads Guilty to Attempted Murder in Dupont Estates Shooting

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO):  A Fort Wayne man has pleaded guilty to two counts of attempted murder in a shooting that left his wife and stepdaughter injured.

 

According to our partners in news at 21 Alive, Stephen Walker’s trial was set to begin Tuesday, but it was cut short because he entered a guilty plea.

 

Investigators say Walker shot his wife after a fight over an ex-boyfriend. The stepdaughter tried to step in, but she ended up getting shot in the arm.

 

Walker will be sentenced May 27th. He could face up to 100 years behind bars.
