Hoosiers Feeding the Hungry Receives Grant from Steuben County REMC

STEUBEN COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): The Steuben County REMC has provided a grant for $2,000 to the Hoosiers Feeding the Hungry 2014-2015 Meat Donation Program. According to a press release, the grant will be used to pay processing fees for donated meat in Steuben County, which will then be distributed to area hunger relief agencies, such as:

Pleasant Lake United Methodist


Hoosiers Feeding the Hungry encourages hunters and farmers to donate large game and livestock to one of their participating butchers to be processed, picked up by local hunger relief agencies and distributed within the community in which it was donated.
