In-State Tuition for Veterans Heads to Pence Desk

INDIANAPOLIS (WOWO): More military veterans are set to qualify for in-state tuition at Indiana’s public universities under a measure up for Governor Mike Pence’s consideration. Honorably discharged veterans and active National Guard members would qualify for in-state tuition rates after one year of settling in Indiana .The bill’s sponsor,  Senator Jim Banks of Columbia City says the bill would help increase the number of veterans with bachelor’s degrees.
