Indiana Attorney General Gregg Zoeller Warns People to Watch for Scammers

In the wake of the tragic storm Sandy, he says there is that element out there that will try and take advantage of your good human nature and your desire to help your fellow man.  You’ll want to watch for people calling you on the phone trying to get your bank information saying the money will go towards helping the folks on the east coast. You should also watch out for people showing up at your door saying they work for the gas or cable company and they are soliciting funds and want you to give them your bank info saying they’ll credit your next bill….don’t buy it!
