Indiana DNR Releases Emergency Contacts for High Water

Most residents in NE Indiana have been impacted by heavy flooding.

Kosciusko County, Ind. (WOWO): The Indiana DNR asks Kosciusko and Noble County residents who experience problems with high water to get assistance by calling the proper authorities.

Local residents and their guests who are stuck in high water and need emergency rescue, should first call 911.

For a non-emergency situation that might require the assistance of a conservation officer, DNR Law Enforcement Central Dispatch can be reached 24 hours a day, at (812) 837-9536.

<span style=”font-family: Arial; font-size: 18px;”>For Kosciusko County, the District 1 Law Enforcement Office number (574) 457-8092, is staffed during business hours of 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

For Noble County, the District 2 Law Enforcement Office number (260) 244-3720, is also staffed from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

All other high-water related issues should be directed to Kosciusko County Emergency Management, (574) 371-2602, or Noble County Emergency Management, (260) 636-2938.
