Indiana Police Recover Woman and Child Abducted in Milwaukee

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) – Indianapolis police say they have recovered a woman and her child who Wisconsin authorities say were abducted in Milwaukee.
A police spokesman says officers took one man into custody after finding the woman and her 2-year-old child at a west side motel early Friday. The woman and child haven't been identified but are safe and cooperating with authorities.

Officers had found a car matching a description given by Wisconsin authorities in the parking lot of a fireworks store near the motel.

Twenty-two-year-old Donald Earvin Jones of Milwaukee was being held with bond Friday in the Marion County Jail on a charge of criminal confinement.

Details of the Milwaukee abduction were not immediately available.
