LOWELL, Ind. (AP) _ A state highway has reopened in northwestern Indiana after being closed as utility crews dealt with three large power line towers wrecked by Wednesday night’s strong storm.
 
  State police said Friday that Indiana 2 was open again east of Interstate 65 near the southern Lake County town of Lowell.
 
  That section of highway was closed after three high-tension towers standing about 150 feet tall were blown down by the strong storm. The National Weather Service says the storm likely had winds approaching 100 mph in the area.
 
  Northern Indiana Public Service Co. spokesman Nick Meyer tells the Post-Tribune that crews worked Thursday to remove power lines from the roadway about 20 miles south of Gary. He says the utility rerouted power to the area.
