STATEWIDE, Ind. (WOWO) — Indiana State Police are partnering with the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance for the non-profit’s Human Trafficking Awareness Initiative.

Running through this Friday, the agency will distribute outreach materials while State Police conduct inspections.

The overall initiative runs across North America through March.

Human Trafficking is becoming an increasing problem across the United States – and initiatives such as this one are educating commercial drivers to know what to look out for so that they can assist law enforcement in rescuing those who may be victims
