Indianapolis Man Signs Plea Agreement For Shooting His Girlfriend And Their 10-Month-Old Son

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WOWO) — An Indianapolis man has signed a plea agreement for shooting his girlfriend and their 10-month-old son while she breastfed the child in their home last year.

Jerimiah Eldridge, 22, agreed to plead guilty to two counts of attempted murder, with all other charges being dismissed.

The shooting happened after an argument escalated when Eldridge pointed a gun at the woman and threatened to kill her.

The woman was shot in the shoulder and the child was shot in the abdomen.

Eldridge will be formally sentenced on January 8, 2026.

He faces a maximum sentence of 40 years.
