INDIANAPOLIS (AP) _ Dozens of people who were sickened by fumes after a chemical reaction a year ago at an public pool in Indianapolis have filed claims against the city, raising the possibility that the accident and ensuing evacuation could cost the city as much as $2 million or more.
 
  WTHR-TV reports officials have already settled claims totaling $33,456. The remaining unsettled claims range from $340 to one family filing three separate $750,000 for a total of $2.2 million.
 
  The lawsuits stem from a chemical reaction at Garfield Park pool on June 21, 2012 that resulted in about 70 people going to hospitals for treatment of symptoms including nausea, breathing problems and watery eyes.
 
  A spokesman for Indianapolis Mayor Greg Ballard didn’t immediately return a phone call seeking comment Friday.
