Is it Time for Indiana to Secede from the Union?

As of last night, 15 thousand people think it’s a good idea.  As of election day, 41 states including all 11 of the original confederate states, have begun petition drives and sent them to the white house advocating for secession.  The Obama Administration says any state with at least 25 thousand signatures has been guaranteed a review.  The only state so far with enough signatures is Texas with 83 thousand and climbing; so many that it prompted Governor Rick Perry to issue a statement that says “Our Union is what makes us strong”.  No word from our Governor or Governor elect, however, State House Speaker Brian Bosma said he disagrees, pointing out the last time states tried to succeed it didn’t end well.
