ISP Looking Into I-69 Hit-And-Run Crash Near Auburn

DEKALB COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO) – Indiana State Police in the Auburn area are looking into a recent hit-and-run crash on I-69 where a pedestrain was struck by a driver.

It happened on Saturday night, shortly after 9:00 p.m.

Police say that a man walking near mile maker 323 was struck by a vehicle driven in the southbound lanes, just under the DeKabl County County Road 68 overpass.

According to police, the driver took off after striking the person. The man was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators are looking for help from the public to try and identify the involved driver and/or vehicle.
