FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The Fort Wayne branch of Ivy Tech Community College is hosting its biggest fundraiser of the year tonight.

It’s the fifth annual “A Reason to Taste” fundraiser, and this year’s theme centers around “the Rome of France,” giving guests a taste of Nimes, a French city with Italian heritage.

Dinner will be prepared by hospitality administration students and graduates, and guests will have the chance to bid on silent auction items. The auction will also be hosted online, and includes jewelry, local restaurant and business gift cards, trips, and children’s items.

The event will take place at the Mirro Center for Research and Innovation on Parkview Plaza Drive in Fort Wayne, with cocktails starting at 6pm and dinner at 7pm.
