Judge To Allow Two Vials in Bisard Drunk Driving Case

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): More developments in the case of an Indianapolis police officer standing trial in Fort Wayne.

This afternoon the Allen County judge hearing the case has ruled both vials of blood drawn from David Bisard can be used in trial. The Indianapolis Star says Superior Court Judge John Surbeck refused a request by Bisard's lawyers to disallow the evidence. They claimed the blood was mishandled.

Bisard is accused of a fatal drunk driving accident that killed a motorcyclist in 2010. Bisard was on duty in a police car sparking the crash.

The judge said he would not have the jury sequestered during the October Trial.
